Embrace Your Future (EYF) is a comprehensive academic advising and college counseling program for at-risk high school students, especially low- income students, underserved minorities and students who are the first generation to attend university. EYF believes that every student deserves the opportunity to attend college. Therefore, our scholars will be selected holistically based on the criteria and process listed below:

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Complete Application Package
  • Application Form
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Transcript
  • Complete Essay Response
  • Student Interview*
  • Accepted students will be notified.

*Only qualified students will be contacted for an interview

  • Display Financial Need

  • Underserved Students

  • Receives Free or Reduced Lunch

  • First Generation College Student

BECOME A MENTOR

EYF is seeking to create a team of mentors formed by college students with diverse majors and backgrounds to serve as ideal leaders for student participants. To serve this purpose, mentors will be helping students in the following areas:

  • Academic Advising & Support (Tutoring, Homework Help, Test Prep)
  • College & Career Guidance (Admission Prep, Scholarship Applications)
  • Student Success & Life (Goal Setting, Community Services, Parent Support)

*Qualifying mentors may receive scholarship.

 

BECOME A SERVICE SITE

EYF is seeking to create a team of mentors formed by college students with diverse majors and backgrounds to serve as ideal leaders for student participants. To serve this purpose, mentors will be helping students in the following areas:

If you are a Public High School that is interested in playing an active role in shaping the future of students who may otherwise not have the opportunity of a quality education, this is the place for you. By becoming a Service Site for EYF, you will be able to make use of our expertise and resources in helping high school students access college education in the future.
